I haven't installed a huge number of apps on here, the files to do with apache server live in private/etc - which to me suggests they're part of the operating system.. so why can't i find anything about apache being an integral part of the OS anywhere?
I'm on Catalina 15.5.5, but FWIW i saw these files there before the recent upgrade.
Some of the related files (to do with 'httpd') live in a directory called Library/Webserver/ which i do not have write permissions to (!) - im the only admin on here but only 'system' is allowed to write to this directory. I cant do anything with these seemingly non-essential files squatting on my HD.
My biggest concern is obviously some kind of malware. Should I be worried?
